About the role
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
* Design and implementation of new product and customer features
* Develop quality firmware using best practices for design, unit test, integration test, and debug in an Agile framework
* Firmware integration and bring-up of new hardware and new recording technologies, including simulation
* Collaboration across multiple teams to root cause and resolve failures
Qualifications
Required:
* Currently pursuing a BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on embedded systems or firmware development.
* Must have the ability to work onsite
* Programming skills in C++ and Python
Skills:
* Have excellent teamwork, and proactive communications, working as part of a small, fast moving, multi-site team.
* Be able to work in a structured code development process to create and verify firmware designs based on both internal and external requirements.
* Have a strong desire to learn through on the job efforts as necessary.
