About the Department
This position will direct, supervise, and coordinate the overall functions of the security department at Welch Community Hospital to achieve continuous and optimal security coverage and protection. Keep the security staff up to date of all changes as they occur, be knowledgeable of all hospital and state policies, and keep informed of developments/changes in the federal, state, and local regulations as they apply to the security department. Coordinate security functions with all departments in the hospital. Mandatory overtime is an essential job function of this position. Applicants selected for employment must successfully complete a criminal background check and a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug testing for probable cause as set forth in agency and bureau policies. Welch Community Hospital is a tobacco free campus.
