About the role:

JOB TITLE: Senior PPC & Biddable Media Manager

LOCATION: Milan, HQ

SALARY RANGE: 40-50K depending on experience

CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent, Full Time

We are seeking a highly technical, performance-driven PPC & Biddable Media Specialist with 5-7 years of hands-on experience managing large-scale, data-intensive campaigns. The ideal candidate is a performance marketing and optimization fanatic, with a deep technical acumen and a passion for dissecting campaign data to drive measurable improvements.

What you will do:

  • Advanced Budget & Bid Management:

  • Manage and optimize high-value PPC budgets using advanced bidding strategies (e.g., data-driven attribution models, DD/U-shape) to maximize ROI.
  • Leverage custom scripts and automation tools for dynamic bid adjustments and real-time performance optimization.

  • Technical Campaign Development & Execution:

  • Architect, deploy, and fine-tune complex SEA campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, and advanced Paid Social campaigns (Meta, TikTok, etc.).
  • Utilize granular segmentation, audience targeting, and custom analytics tracking to improve campaign efficiency.

  • Performance Analysis & Optimization:

  • Perform in-depth analysis using Google Analytics, GTM, and advanced Excel techniques to uncover actionable insights.
  • Conduct rigorous A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other controlled experiments to optimize key performance indicators (CPC, CTR, CR, CPA, ROAS).

  • Automation & Technical Innovation:

  • Spearhead automation initiatives, integrating advanced reporting dashboards and API-based tools to streamline campaign management.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineers and marketing technologists to design scalable, automated solutions for performance tracking.

  • Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:

  • Work in tandem with cross-functional teams to implement technical enhancements, integrate SEO insights, and pioneer the “next-generation” PPC framework.
  • Contribute to the development of a technical knowledge base and learning agenda, including regular updates on industry trends, platform innovations, and algorithm changes.

What are we looking for:

  • Extensive Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years managing high-complexity SEA campaigns with significant budgets; experience in tech, digital marketplaces, or travel industries is a plus.

  • Technical Proficiency:

  • In-depth understanding of bid management tools, script automation, and advanced bidding strategies with strong command over data-driven attribution models.
  • Proven track record in executing robust advertising experiments (A/B tests, audience segmentation, geographic testing, bidding algorithms) with clear performance improvements.

  • Analytical & Tool Expertise:

  • Advanced proficiency with Google Analytics, GTM, and similar platforms; expert-level skills in Excel (including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data visualization).
  • Solid understanding of API integrations and automated reporting solutions.

  • Integrated Marketing & Attribution:

  • Familiarity with MMMss, advanced attribution tools, and CDPs to holistically assess and optimize marketing performance.

  • Performance Marketing Obsession:

  • Demonstrable passion for performance marketing, with an unwavering focus on optimization and measurable impact.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets to derive actionable insights and implement rapid, iterative improvements.

  • Communication & Autonomy:

  • Excellent technical communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex strategies to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong self-starter with the capability to prioritize and execute projects independently in a fast-paced environment.

You will love working at WeRoad if:
