Concurrent Enrollment Coordinator - Wenatchee High School
8 hour per day / 214 days per year

Description:
The Concurrent Enrollment Coordinator, under the direct supervision of building administration, is responsible for managing enrollment and supporting students, families, and staff in the enrollment process for various program/institutions. These include, but are not limited to: CiHS for CWU, EWU, and UW. CTE Dual credit for WVC, SCC, WWCC, as well as our own ALE program for HSBP completion. This role serves as the primary liaison between the high school, partner colleges and universities, students, and parents. The Coordinator ensures that students have seamless access to college-level coursework and ensures all program compliance and data reporting requirements are met. Additionally, this position will support the Accelerated Pathways program as needed through individual meetings with students and families to ensure their understanding of the program requirements, potential outcomes, and opportunities as they arise.
Key Responsibilities
Program Management & Administration
- Coordinate Logistics: Oversee the application, registration, and enrollment processes for all concurrent enrollment programs (e.g., Dual Credit, College in the High School, Running Start).
- Data & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of student enrollment, college credits earned, and program completion. Submit required state and district reports on time.
- Faculty Support: Assist high school teachers acting as adjunct college faculty in navigating the college’s credentialing process, syllabus alignment, and grade submission protocols.
Student Advising & Support
- Academic Advising: Meet with students to discuss dual enrollment opportunities
- Progress Monitoring: Track the academic progress of students enrolled in college courses. Intervene and provide support resources for students who are struggling academically.
- Transition Support: Educate students on how concurrent enrollment credits transfer to various higher education institutions and assist with requesting official college transcripts.
Liaison & Outreach
- Partnership Building: Maintain strong relationships with admission counselors, registrars, and dual enrollment directors at partner community colleges and universities.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for parents and students regarding program rules, deadlines, tuition/fee structures (if applicable), and expectations.
- Event Coordination: Host informational nights, parent workshops, and college registration drives to promote concurrent enrollment pathways to the student body.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Higher Education Administration, or a closely related field.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in School Counseling, Educational Leadership, or Student Affairs.
- Experience: 2–3 years of experience working in a high school or higher education setting, specifically in counseling, academic advising, admissions, or program coordination.
Skills & Competencies
- Deep understanding of high school graduation requirements and college admissions/credit transfer processes.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage complex data systems and spreadsheets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with teenagers, parents, teachers, and college administrators.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines simultaneously, and take initiative in program expansion.
- Commitment to educational equity and expanding access to advanced coursework for underrepresented student populations.

220 - 259 Day Employees - Paid leave benefits include 10 days of sick leave, 3 personal leave days and 11 holidays.
260 Day Employees - Paid leave benefits include 12 days of sick leave, 2 personal leave days, 14 holidays and 12 vacation days.
Benefits may be prorated based upon date of hire/hours per day.
