Clarity on the Role:

The Jr. Associate, Marketing role will provide hands-on support across Wellvana’s Experience Team, contributing to social content, email production, CRM operations, project & event coordination, and content management. This role is full-time.

You’ll work across multiple workstreams—supporting editorial and social content, helping build and QA CRM email campaigns, managing project tracking in Monday.com, and contributing to sponsorship and marketing calendar efforts. No two days will look exactly the same, and that’s the point.

You’re a strong writer who sweats the details, organized enough to juggle multiple tasks, and curious enough to dive into platforms you haven’t used before. You want real work, not coffee runs. You’ll be in the middle of live campaigns, actual strategy, and meaningful projects from day one.

You’ll report directly to Kim Heinemann, Director, Marketing Technology & CRM. However, to gain experience and mentorship across the various facets of marketing you will be working with, you will also hold one-on-ones with the Director, Marketing & Communications and the Director, Editorial.

The role is remote, but we love having visitors to our Nashville Hub.

Expectations:

  • Social Content & Email Support: You’ll support the editorial and marketing comms teams with content drafting, scheduling, and posting across Wellvana’s social channels. You’ll assist with email copywriting and production, helping ensure every send looks right, reads right, and goes out on time.
  • Content Management: You’ll help manage content libraries, organize assets, and keep our content repositories clean and current. You’ll coordinate with teammates to track what’s in progress, what’s live, and what needs to be updated.
  • Copy QA: You’ll serve as a second set of eyes on emails, social posts, landing pages, and other marketing materials—checking typos, broken links, formatting issues, and brand voice consistency before content goes live.
  • Marketing Calendar: You’ll support the maintenance and management of the marketing calendar, ensuring upcoming sends, campaigns, events, and content drops are accurately logged, visible to stakeholders, and aligned with team priorities.
  • Sponsorship Support: You’ll assist with logistics and coordination for Wellvana’s sponsorship and event presence—helping pull together materials, track deliverables, manage deadlines, and ensure commitments are fulfilled on time.
  • CRM List Management & Email Building: Working closely with the broader CRM team, you’ll help build and manage audience lists in Salesforce, support email campaign construction, and contribute to CRM communications workflows for the Experience Team.

Requirements

Live Out the Wellvana Way:

  • Find a way. Be accountable, see the work through, make it life changing.
  • Ask why question. Conventional wisdom is often wrong. Be curious and always connect your work back to the goal and audience.
  • Move on what matters: Prioritize the work and be laser focused on what moves the needle.
  • Expect to win: Confidence is contagious. Bring solutions.
  • You can’t do it alone. And you’re not expected to. We work best when we’re a team. Silos slow us down. Collaboration and communication are the fast way… and the fun way.

Requirements:

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable—you catch things others miss, and you follow through on what you say you’ll do.
  • Strong writer and communicator. You understand that a good copy is clear, concise, and written for a specific audience.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completing a degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or a related field.
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously without losing the thread—you know how to prioritize and ask for help when needed.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing, or project management tools (Monday.com, Asana, or similar) is a plus.
  • Exposure to CRM platforms (Salesforce or similar) is a bonus but not required. Willingness to learn is a must.
  • Curious about healthcare—you don’t need to come in as an expert, but you should want to understand the industry and the mission.
  • An individual who sees ambiguity as an opportunity, not an obstacle.
  • Healthcare-related experience or coursework is a plus. But hey, we’re all learning here. Varied perspectives make us stronger.
