Azure Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking an experienced Azure Infrastructure Manager to serve as the hands-on technical owner of WellStreet’s Microsoft Azure cloud environment and Microsoft 365 platform. This is a working manager role responsible for direct administration, configuration, governance, and compliance across our cloud ecosystem.

This position will play a critical role in maintaining platform stability, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement across Azure and M365 environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, and resource governance
• Oversee Azure Policy, compliance frameworks, and regulatory alignment (HIPAA, HiTrust, NIST)
• Maintain and support Azure Landing Zone architecture and hybrid cloud environments
• Administer Microsoft 365 platforms (SharePoint, OneDrive, Purview)
• Lead Azure cost management (FinOps) efforts, including budgeting and optimization
• Support Microsoft Sentinel integrations and monitoring capabilities
• Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Security, and Engineering teams
• Ensure adherence to ITIL v4 processes including change, incident, and problem management

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of Azure administration experience
• Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA, HiTrust, or similar preferred)

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure management
• Experience with Azure governance, policy, and compliance frameworks
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools including SharePoint, OneDrive, and Purview
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and scripting

Soft Skills

• Strong communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally
• Team-oriented with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
• Confident decision-maker with strong ownership mentality

Additional Information

• Level: Manager (Individual contributor with no direct reports)
• Compensation Range: $138K – $150K 
• Bonus: Not eligible
