Role Description The Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, serving as the first point of contact for guests and visitors. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting guests, managing check-in and check-out processes, answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and directing guests to appropriate services and areas within the retreat. The role involves handling reservations, maintaining accurate records, managing basic clerical tasks such as filing and data entry, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences. The Receptionist is also expected to provide courteous and efficient customer service, uphold the retreat’s standards of hospitality, and support administrative needs at the front desk.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests and colleagues.
- Proficiency in receptionist duties and clerical skills, including handling Wellness reservations, managing front desk operations, and maintaining records.
- Excellent phone etiquette and comfort handling incoming calls, inquiries, and follow-ups in a clear and polite manner.
- Basic computer literacy, including experience with office software and reservation or front desk systems.
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced hospitality environment, with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience in a receptionist, front office, or hospitality role is preferred.
- Fluency in English; additional local languages are an advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related education or training is beneficial.
