Role Description The Wellness Nurse is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for delivering preventive, patient-centered care within Prvnt’s technology-enabled health platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting health assessments, monitoring vital signs and wearable data, and coordinating diagnostic tests and lab work. The role involves educating individuals on preventive health measures, lifestyle modifications, and treatment adherence, and supporting holistic interventions under clinical guidance. The Wellness Nurse works closely with physicians, care coordinators, and technology teams to interpret health insights, escalate clinical concerns, and ensure continuity of care. This position also includes accurate documentation, participation in care planning, and adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Clinical care skills, including patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, and preventive health counseling.
- Experience collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to implement care plans and interventions.
- Proficiency in documenting clinical encounters, maintaining electronic health records, and following established protocols.
- Comfort working with health technology platforms, wearable devices, and data-driven health insights.
- Strong communication, empathy, and relationship-building skills to support patient engagement and education.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
- Registered Nurse (or equivalent nursing qualification and license) with relevant clinical experience in wellness, primary care, or preventive health.
- Willingness to work on-site in Chennai and adapt to evolving processes in an innovative, prevention-focused healthcare environment.
