Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Coimbatore for a Wellness Counsellor Intern. The intern will support and counsel students to manage stress, increase productivity, and achieve personal and professional goals. Responsibilities include conducting wellness sessions and workshops, offering individual support sessions, crafting resources and materials to improve mental well-being, and tracking students' progress. Collaboration with other departments to foster a positive and empowering learning environment is also a key component of the role.
Qualifications
- Skills in counseling, active listening, and student support
- Ability to create and conduct wellness programs, workshops, and sessions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Empathy, emotional intelligence, and conflict resolution skills
- Organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
- Relevant academic background or certification in counseling, psychology, or a related field
- Passion for helping students thrive in their academic and personal growth
- Prior experience in a similar role or internship is an added advantage
