Welfare Officer – TO RUN OUR CHARITY KENDRA EMPLOYER COMPANY
Parsi Dairy Farm Private Limited is a 110-Year-old Dairy based in Mumbai and Mumbai-Gujarat highway, making high end quality dairy products and Indian sweets.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Welfare Officer to lead and manage our Charitable Kendra, established to support and uplift a village community of approximately 150–200 households/ huts in and around our farm which is situated at Village Varwada, District Palghar.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Conduct fieldwork by engaging directly with villagers to understand their needs and initiate relevant welfare projects.
2) Develop initiatives to empower youth through skill-building and employment opportunities for children who have completed the education.
3) Identify income-generating opportunities for senior citizens in the village.
4) Focus on improving overall quality of life through sustainable and practical programs.
Note: The initiative will not cover school education or medical services.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Should have experience of working at ground level and should have the DNA to give back to the society. Relevant experience is more important than formal education. Candidates with hands-on field experience will be preferred.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Ready to work with the villagers and be ready to be on field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1) Candidates with relevant experience in similar roles and who has worked at grassroots/community development work are preferred.
2) Strong passion and commitment towards social service and rural upliftment.
3) Willingness to work on-field and interact closely with villagers.
4) Open to experienced professionals (40+) or recently retired individuals.
REMUNERATION
To be discussed based on experience and suitability.
