Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Welding Engineer, based in Vapi. The Welding Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising welding processes to ensure quality and efficiency. Key tasks include developing weld procedures, overseeing welding operations, conducting quality inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards. The role also involves collaborating with design and manufacturing teams to optimize weld designs and resolve technical challenges.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Welding Technologies, Techniques, and Procedures
- Experience with Materials Science, Metallurgy, and Metal Fabrication
- Ability to conduct Quality Inspections and ensure compliance with Safety Standards
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, designs, and technical drawings
- Solid understanding of Welding Codes and Industry Regulations
- Problem-solving skills and an ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in using welding tools, machinery, and standard testing methods
- Bachelor’s degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Professional certification in welding (e.g., AWS Certified Welding Engineer) is a plus
