Software Project Manager

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Key Responsibilities Project Planning and Management Define the scope, objectives, and deliverables for software development projects in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations. Track progress against project milestones and adjust plans proactively to address risks and challenges. Optimize workflows to ensure the smooth execution of projects within established parameters. Stakeholder Communication Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, deliverables, and risks. Conduct project meetings to ensure alignment between cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of project goals. Team Coordination and Leadership Oversee and coordinate efforts of software developers, QA specialists, designers, and other team members. Foster a collaborative work environment, providing guidance and support to team members. Resolve conflicts and remove roadblocks to maintain productivity and focus on project objectives. Motivate teams to achieve milestones and deliver high-quality results. Quality Assurance and Risk Management Implement quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet company standards and client expectations. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure adherence to scope, timelines, and budget. Maintain compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices, including data privacy and security protocols. Continuous Improvement Introduce agile or hybrid methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban to enhance project workflows. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement. Propose and lead initiatives to streamline development processes and improve team efficiency. Required Skills and Experience Essential Skills: Minimum 5 years of experience in software project management or related roles. Proven expertise in managing software development projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery. Proficiency in agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban. Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices. Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or MS Project. Strong understanding of software development life cycles and processes. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Desired Experience and Skills: Familiarity with coding languages such as Swift, Kotlin, Node.js, or JavaScript is a plus. Knowledge of APIs, cloud services, and other modern software technologies.
