We are seeking a Backend Engineer to join a fast-growing AI-first platform that is transforming how e-commerce brands manage email marketing. The company has achieved rapid growth, reaching $1M ARR in just 6 months and currently personalizes experiences for over 70 million consumers monthly.
As an early engineer on the team, you will take full ownership of systems from architecture through to production, working across backend development, AI infrastructure, and high-scale data pipelines. Your work will include building model routing, evaluation systems, and real-time feedback loops.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable backend systems.
- Own end-to-end system architecture and deployment.
- Collaborate on AI infrastructure and large-scale data processing.
- Develop features related to model routing, evaluation, and feedback mechanisms.
- Apply strong product thinking to deliver impactful solutions.
Requirements:
- 4-9 years of experience in backend engineering with scalable systems.
- Strong sense of ownership and product-oriented mindset.
- Interest or experience in LLM operations and AI infrastructure.
Technical Stack: TypeScript (NestJS, React), AWS, Postgres, ClickHouse
Location: Initially remote with a planned transition to an office in Bangalore within 1-2 months.
