We are seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join an innovative social music platform. This is a unique opportunity to build the Android app from the ground up, translating an existing core iOS experience to Android. You will have significant ownership over app architecture, performance, and product direction, including the possibility of contributing to a future cross-platform strategy involving Flutter.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop a high-quality Android application from scratch.
- Collaborate closely with product and design teams to deliver a seamless user experience.
- Drive architectural decisions and optimize app performance.
- Contribute to strategic discussions around cross-platform development and technology choices.
Requirements:
- 4 to 8 years of professional Android development experience.
- Strong expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Proven track record of shipping production-grade Android applications in fast-paced environments.
- Experience with consumer social or media-heavy applications is highly desirable.
