We are seeking an experienced Applied AI Research Engineer to join a lean, high-ownership team focused on advancing the core intelligence behind an AI-powered revenue intelligence platform. This role involves working on the foundational AI systems rather than application-layer AI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve retrieval and search mechanisms for agentic AI systems
- Conduct evaluations and benchmarking of large language models (LLMs)
- Implement continual learning and agent memory capabilities
- Perform fine-tuning and knowledge distillation for retrieval models
- Engage in deep learning, large language models, and applied AI research
Team Structure:
- Small, high-ownership team of approximately 25 members, split evenly between India and the US
- Direct reporting to the Head of AI
- Remote work initially, transitioning to Bangalore location within a few months
Experience Level: 5 - 10 years
Compensation: 40 - 100 LPA
