We are seeking an experienced Open Source GitHub Maintainer to join a team working on AI projects. This is a remote contractor role, approximately 15 hours per week, with a flexible schedule. The position is open globally and does not require prior AI experience; your open-source and software engineering expertise is the key qualification.
Responsibilities:
- Review code patches generated by large language models (LLMs) for repositories you maintain
- Assess code quality, correctness, and alignment with the repository standards
- Provide detailed written feedback and justification for your assessments
- Conduct peer reviews of work submitted by other technical experts
- Apply your real-world open-source maintenance and code review expertise to help improve AI systems
Requirements:
- Active maintenance of open-source repositories
- Strong GitHub or GitLab profile demonstrating repository maintenance and contributor code reviews
- Proven experience in open-source contributions and code review processes
Location: Remote (India preferred)
Experience: 1 to 30 years
