We are seeking a Head of AI to lead the development of a new product within a platform that operates in regulated pharma and life sciences laboratory environments. This platform connects instruments, informatics systems, and data, providing a strong foundation for advanced AI-driven solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the AI product development from concept (0→1) and build a high-performing team by hiring 2-3 key members.
- Own the AI strategy and implementation for the agent layer on top of an established data integration platform.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to drive product vision and execution.
- Operate in a regulated environment, ensuring compliance and quality standards.
Requirements:
- 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in AI product development or leadership roles.
- Proven track record of building AI products or solutions from the ground up.
- Experience working in or with regulated industries such as pharma or life sciences is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to recruit and mentor a small team.
- Location preference: Mumbai or Pune, India; remote arrangements are possible.
- Flexible salary range: 50 to 150 LPA, commensurate with experience and fit.
