We are seeking a Founding Data Scientist based in India with 4 to 8 years of experience to own and develop the decisioning and modeling layer of a cutting-edge AI platform. This platform delivers hyper-personalized messaging across multiple channels including WhatsApp, email, SMS, and app push for SMB and mid-market brands.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a per-user Next-Best-Action engine using advanced techniques such as multi-armed bandits (Thompson sampling, LinUCB) and recommendation retrieval models (two-tower, FAISS).
- Implement online learning systems that adapt to real client outcomes in real time.
- Own the end-to-end modeling and decisioning layer with a strong focus on production deployment and impact measurement.
- Ship models to production, monitor live performance, and optimize based on business metrics.
