We are seeking a Founding Backend Engineer to join a fast-growing AI-first startup based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This role offers the opportunity to own and build foundational backend systems end-to-end, including APIs, data models, asynchronous job orchestration, authentication, billing, and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain core backend architecture from day one.
- Own backend systems including API development, data modeling, async job orchestration, authentication, and billing.
- Ensure system reliability and scalability to support a rapidly growing user base.
- Collaborate directly with the founding team in a high-ownership, fast-paced environment.
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (in-office, 5 days a week)
Experience: 3 - 6 years
Compensation: ₹30–60 LPA fixed, flexible for exceptional candidates.
