We are seeking a Founding AI Engineer to join an early-stage startup focused on building the engineering intelligence layer for the AI era. This role involves owning the AI systems that are central to the product, including AI architecture, technical direction, and product development.
Location: Remote (India)
Experience: 3 - 7 years
Compensation: Competitive salary (30 - 70 LPA) plus meaningful equity options.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of AI systems, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), evaluation frameworks, agentic AI, verification, and reasoning.
- Collaborate closely with founders and early design partners to shape the technical direction and product roadmap.
- Take ownership of the AI architecture and ensure robustness and scalability of AI-driven features.
- Contribute to building infrastructure that helps engineering teams understand software behavior, potential breakages, and system dependencies.
