We are seeking a Backend Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This role involves owning and developing core backend systems that power media processing, video exports, AI generation, and background job orchestration.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain scalable, reliable backend systems with a focus on performance and cost efficiency.
- Ensure high product quality through robust system design and implementation.
- Manage background job orchestration and media processing workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support AI-powered video editing features.
Requirements:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in backend engineering.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript with experience owning production backend systems.
- Experience with Python and FFmpeg is a plus.
- Ability to design and implement systems that are scalable and cost-effective.
