Role Overview:
This role is a blend of design, engineering, and product management, with approximately 40% focus on design, 40% on engineering, and 20% on product management. The AI Consumer Product Lead will own the consumer product surfaces end-to-end, prioritizing the work of the consumer team. The candidate will personally handle most of the design and development tasks, write code, and ship products to production. They will collaborate closely with an engineering partner to ensure the right features are built and will also coordinate with the broader engineering team on larger initiatives to prioritize and deliver effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive the consumer product experience end-to-end.
- Prioritize the consumer product roadmap and development efforts.
- Independently design and develop product features, including coding and shipping to production.
- Collaborate with engineering partners to ensure alignment and quality delivery.
- Engage with the broader engineering team on larger projects for prioritization and execution.
- Wear multiple hats including product management, design, and engineering.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Strong UX design sensibility with top-tier taste.
- Ability to independently ship product features while managing product priorities.
- Comfortable coding and taking ownership of engineering deliverables.
- Experienced in working remotely with some overlap in Eastern Time (GMT -4).
