Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Wedding Planner role based in Delhi, India. The Wedding Planner will coordinate end-to-end wedding arrangements, including venue setup, decor, catering, entertainment, and guest experience in close collaboration with internal hotel teams and external vendors. The role involves meeting with clients to understand their vision, budget, and cultural or personal preferences, then translating these into detailed event plans and timelines. The Wedding Planner will oversee event execution on the day, manage last-minute changes, and ensure services are delivered smoothly and professionally. Key responsibilities also include preparing cost estimates, tracking expenses, ensuring adherence to hotel standards, and maintaining clear, timely communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the planning process.
Qualifications
- Strong Planning and Event Planning skills to design, organize, and execute complex wedding events from concept to completion.
- Specialized Wedding Planning experience, including working with diverse traditions, themes, and ceremonies.
- Plan, execute, and manage live entertainment events such as weddings, parties, and corporate functions.
- Manage artist relationships to ensure seamless performance delivery.
- Coordinate with vendors for event setup, sound checks, and teardown.
- Oversee event operations from start to finish including logistics planning.
- Ensure timely execution of events within budget constraints.
- Engage with guests for an unforgettable experience.
- Budgeting skills to create accurate cost estimates, optimize resource use, and manage expenses within client and hotel guidelines.
- Excellent Customer Service abilities to build trust with clients, handle inquiries and concerns, and provide a high-touch, professional experience.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills for coordinating with vendors, hotel departments, and clients.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
- Previous experience in hospitality, events, or hotel operations preferred; certification or formal training in event management is an advantage.
