About the Role
We are looking for a CMS Training Specialist who can confidently train our clients to manage their websites after launch.
Once our development team builds and launches a website, your role will be to guide clients on how to manage and update their content using the CMS platform. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys teaching, explaining workflows, and helping non-technical users feel comfortable with technology.
This role is best suited for professionals with strong training or teaching experience, such as corporate trainers, product trainers, or former lecturers who have moved into technical training roles.
You do not need to be a developer, but a basic understanding of websites and CMS platforms is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct live virtual training sessions for clients on CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, or Umbraco
- Train non-technical users including content editors, marketing teams, and website administrators
- Explain website workflows and CMS functionality in a clear and simple way
- Create user guides, quick reference documents, and training materials
- Record short “how-to” videos or walkthrough tutorials for clients
- Adapt training sessions based on different user roles and levels of technical knowledge
- Collect feedback from training sessions and continuously improve training content
- Coordinate and manage training schedules for multiple website launches
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience as a Corporate Trainer, IT Trainer, Product Trainer, or Technical Trainer
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Experience delivering live virtual training sessions
- Basic understanding of how websites work (pages, posts, navigation, CMS workflows)
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, IT, Education, or a related field
Ideal Candidate Background
- We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience such as:
- Corporate or software trainers working with product companies
- Customer implementation trainers who train clients on using software platforms
- University lecturers or instructors who have transitioned into corporate training roles
- Profiles that are highly technical developers or focused primarily on machine-learning model training or logistics operations may not be the best fit for this role.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with WordPress, Drupal, Umbraco, or other CMS platforms
- Experience creating training documentation, manuals, or tutorial videos
- Experience working with client-facing training programs
