Role Description The Website Owner is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for overseeing the planning, operation, and continuous improvement of GRL’s corporate website and related web properties. This role manages website content, structure, and user experience to ensure information is accurate, engaging, and aligned with brand and business objectives. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating content updates with internal stakeholders, working with designers and developers on new features, monitoring site performance and analytics, and ensuring compliance with security, accessibility, and privacy standards. The Website Owner also manages SEO initiatives, evaluates third-party tools and integrations, and prioritizes a roadmap of enhancements that support marketing, sales, and customer support goals. Collaboration with global teams is essential to maintain consistent messaging while tailoring content to local markets where appropriate.
Qualifications
- Experience managing corporate or product websites, including content planning, publishing workflows, and basic information architecture.
- Skills in web analytics and SEO, with the ability to interpret data, optimize traffic and conversions, and report on key performance metrics.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), basic HTML/CSS understanding, and coordination with web designers and developers.
- Strong written communication and editing skills, with attention to detail and the ability to maintain a consistent brand voice.
- Knowledge of web accessibility, data privacy, and security best practices relevant to public-facing websites.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize stakeholder requests, and work effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Communications, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in technology or engineering services industries is a plus, especially familiarity with hardware, interfaces, or testing services.
