About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Website Manager to oversee and optimize our e-commerce website operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining website performance, managing content and online store operations, enhancing user experience, analyzing performance metrics, and ensuring website security and compliance. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, analytical skills, and strong project management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Website Maintenance & Optimization
- Manage and maintain website content to ensure information remains accurate, updated, and relevant.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement website updates, enhancements, and new features.
- Conduct regular website audits to identify and resolve issues related to website performance, functionality, and user experience.
- Ensure website responsiveness, speed, and smooth functionality across devices.
E-commerce Management
- Manage day-to-day operations of the online store and ensure a seamless customer shopping experience.
- Implement strategies to improve conversion rates and drive online sales.
- Monitor and maintain product catalogs, pricing, promotions, and inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely updates and product launches.
Content Management
- Update and maintain product information, descriptions, images, and website content.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure promotional campaigns and launches are accurately reflected on the website.
- Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and organic rankings.
- Maintain consistency in content and brand messaging.
User Experience (UX) Enhancement
- Analyze website user behavior and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to implement UX/UI enhancements.
- Continuously optimize navigation and customer journeys.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Use analytics tools such as Google Analytics to monitor website performance.
- Track KPIs including website traffic, conversions, engagement, and overall performance metrics.
- Generate reports and provide recommendations based on insights and trends.
Security & Compliance
- Implement and maintain website security measures to ensure a secure customer experience.
- Ensure website compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Monitor website health and proactively address issues.
Qualifications & Skills Education
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
Required Skills
- Experience working in website management or e-commerce operations.
- Strong understanding of Shopify and e-commerce platforms.
- Knowledge of content management systems and website workflows.
- Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with UX/UI concepts and current website trends.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and website integrations.
- Experience with tools such as Google Search Console, Hotjar, or CRM integrations.
