Responsibilities
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will:
- Provide exceptional support for web hosting platforms, addressing customer queries via tickets, calls, or chat.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux, control panels, and other web hosting technologies.
- Use ticketing and CRM tools to manage, track, and resolve customer issues efficiently.
- Educate users by explaining technical solutions in a clear, user-friendly manner.
- Collaborate with the team to share knowledge and resolve complex or escalated issues.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in AI, blogging, digital marketing, and content creation tools.
- Maintain shift flexibility, including weekends or holidays, and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
Must Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Linux, web hosting, and control panel troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of operating systems, software applications, and common hardware.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in English.
- Customer-focused mindset with proven problem-solving abilities under pressure.
- Experience in customer support roles (2–3 years preferred), ideally supporting SaaS platforms or creative tools.
Good to Have
- Relevant certifications in IT or web hosting technologies.
- Familiarity with AI tools and industry challenges in blogging, digital marketing, and design.
- Proficiency in additional languages beyond English.
- Knowledge of content creation tools and processes.
