Website Development Intern (WordPress, HTML, CSS)
Job Title: Website Development Intern
Location: Remote
Duration: 3–6 Months Internship
Stipend: 10-15k/Month
Joining: Immediate
Shift Time: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST
Job Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Website Development Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in WordPress, HTML, and CSS and be eager to learn modern web development practices. This internship offers hands-on experience in building, maintaining, and optimizing websites for various industries.
Key Responsibilities
Website Development & Maintenance
- Develop and maintain responsive websites using WordPress.
- Create and modify web pages using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
- Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and responsive across devices.
- Perform website updates, bug fixes, and content modifications.
Design & User Experience
- Convert design mockups (Figma, Adobe XD, PSD) into functional web pages.
- Maintain website consistency in layout, typography, and branding.
- Improve user experience and website navigation.
Performance & SEO
- Optimize website speed and performance.
- Implement basic on-page SEO elements such as meta tags, image optimization, and URL structures.
- Monitor website performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Test websites across different browsers and devices.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve website errors.
- Ensure website functionality and security best practices are followed.
Learning & Collaboration
- Work closely with designers, digital marketers, and senior developers.
- Participate in team meetings and project discussions.
- Learn and implement new web technologies and development standards.
Required Skills (Must Have)
- Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS
- Good understanding of HTML5
- Good understanding of CSS3
- Knowledge of responsive web design principles
- Basic understanding of website hosting and domain management
- Familiarity with website builders such as Elementor or Gutenberg
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript
- Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, or similar page builders
- Understanding of SEO best practices
- Familiarity with Bootstrap
- Knowledge of WooCommerce
- Basic understanding of PHP
- Experience using Git/GitHub
- Familiarity with website security and backup processes
- Knowledge of website speed optimization techniques
- Understanding of UI/UX principles
Educational Requirements
- Completed a degree/diploma in:

- Information Technology
- Web Development
- Software Engineering
- Relevant Field
