Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced webMethods Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using the Software AG webMethods suite. The role involves building robust, scalable integrations across applications, ensuring high performance, reliability, and seamless data exchange.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support integrations using webMethods Integration Server
- Build and maintain services using:
- Flow services
- Java services
- REST and SOAP APIs
- Develop and manage webMethods Trading Networks (TN) solutions
- Work on B2B integrations (EDI, XML, flat files)
- Perform mappings using webMethods Designer
- Handle error handling, fault tolerance, logging, and exception management
- Implement and support pub/sub, synchronous & asynchronous integrations
- Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, and technical documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Business, QA, Infrastructure)
- Follow SDLC, coding standards, and best integration practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in webMethods Integration
- Strong expertise in:
- Integration Server (IS)
- Flow services & Java services
- webMethods Designer
- Experience with:
- Trading Networks (TN)
- Flat file, XML, JSON, EDI processing
- REST/SOAP web services
- Proficiency in:
- Messaging concepts
- Sync/Async communication patterns
- Error handling & transaction management
- Knowledge of:
- UNIX/Linux environments
- Basic SQL and database integrations
- Strong debugging and performance-tuning skills
