Role Description
This is a part-time, remote role for a Web Development Online Tutor. The tutor will be responsible for delivering engaging online classes, guiding students through various web development concepts, and mentoring them on hands-on coding projects. Assist with coding queries, monitor student progress, and provide constructive feedback to enhance understanding and skills. Communication with both students and their guardians regarding progress may also be required.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience in teaching, mentoring, or conducting online sessions, ideally for younger audiences
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Patience and a passion for teaching kids and teenagers
- Ability to design engaging lesson plans and make coding enjoyable
- Access to a reliable computer, high-speed internet, and familiarity with online collaboration tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related fields, or equivalent practical experience
