About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Web Development Intern to join our talented team at Atfro. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in full-stack web development, working on both our core products and client projects. As an intern, you will be instrumental in building responsive, high-performance web applications that serve a diverse range of users. You will collaborate closely with our founding team, contributing to the design, development, and deployment of innovative features that drive the company's growth. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about coding, eager to learn, and looking to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced startup environment.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a solid foundational understanding of modern web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or TypeScript. Experience with contemporary frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue.js on the frontend, and Node.js, Express, or FastAPI on the backend is essential. Familiarity with version control systems like Git and platforms like GitHub is required to facilitate collaborative development. Candidates should demonstrate a genuine interest in understanding how web applications work behind the scenes and avoid superficial coding practices. Prior experience with personal projects, hackathons, or open-source contributions will be considered a strong advantage, showcasing initiative and a proactive approach to learning and development.
Responsibilities
- Build & Ship: Contribute directly to the frontend and backend architecture of Atfro’s core products, Atfro Studio and Atfro Pigeon, as well as client-specific projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Write Clean Code: Develop responsive, intuitive, and accessible web interfaces, ensuring seamless integration with backend APIs and services.
- Optimize & Debug: Identify and resolve performance issues, fix bugs, and enhance load times to ensure our web applications perform efficiently across all devices and browsers.
- Collaborate: Work closely with the founding team and other developers to brainstorm new features, plan system architecture, and push updates to production environments.
