About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Web Developer Intern to join our development team. You will work on real-world client projects involving WordPress development, custom web applications, and MERN stack technologies. This is a paid internship that offers hands-on experience with modern development tools, industry best practices, and collaborative workflows.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites
- Customise WordPress themes and plugins
- Convert Figma/Adobe XD designs into responsive web pages
- Build custom features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Develop frontend and backend applications using the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code
- Debug, test, and optimise existing websites and web applications
- Collaborate using Git and GitHub for version control
- Integrate and work with REST APIs and third-party services
- Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design
- Basic understanding of React.js and Node.js
- Familiarity with the MERN Stack
- Experience with WordPress (themes, plugins, and page builders)
- Basic knowledge of PHP and MySQL
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub
- Understanding of REST APIs
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks
