Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Web Developer position based in Chennai. The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining responsive websites and web applications. Day-to-day tasks include implementing web designs, managing front-end and back-end development, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring optimal web performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to create user-centric solutions is a key component of this role.
Qualifications
- Experience in Front-End Development and Web Design, including proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Expertise in Back-End Web Development and programming with relevant languages such as PHP, Python, Java, or Node.js
- Strong foundation in Web Development principles, testing, debugging, and performance optimization
- Knowledge of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
- Experience in the financial or investment services sector is an added advantage
