Role Description
We are seeking a Web Developer for a contract-based position located on-site at our Haridwar office. The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites to meet client requirements, ensuring cross-platform compatibility and responsive design. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, debugging and troubleshooting technical issues, collaborating with the design and content teams, and staying updated on emerging web technologies to develop innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design frameworks.
- Experience with back-end development using languages and frameworks such as PHP, Python, Node.js, or similar.
- Competence in database management and optimization with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and web hosting platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail for debugging and improving web functionalities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers and content creators.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with CMS (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) is a plus.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimization is highly desirable.
