About the Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer to join TheBeeBark team in a part-time, remote capacity. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing web applications that are both visually appealing and highly functional. This role requires a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development, with an emphasis on creating responsive, user-friendly interfaces and robust backend systems. The Web Developer will support ongoing website maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues, and enhance digital tools to improve user experience. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and marketing professionals, will be essential to ensure that our digital solutions align with BeeBark’s mission of connecting architectural professionals through innovative technology. This position offers flexibility and an opportunity to work on impactful projects within a fast-growing startup environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in building custom websites with both frontend and backend development.
- Proficiency with drag-and-drop website platforms such as Webflow, Wix, WordPress, Shopify, Framer, etc.
- Ability to convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive websites.
- Experience deploying and managing hosting environments.
- Ability to handle revisions and client iterations efficiently.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with React or Next.js (preferred).
- Proficiency in Node.js or PHP for backend development.
- Experience with API integration and data fetching.
- Implementation of responsive design principles across devices.
Drag & Drop Platform Experience
- Experience with at least two of the following platforms:
- Webflow
- WordPress (including Elementor or custom themes)
- Shopify
- Wix
- Framer
Bonus Skills
- Performance optimization techniques.
- Basic understanding of SEO best practices.
- Version control using Git.
- Experience with hosting services such as Vercel, cPanel, or AWS basics.
