About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Web Developer to join our team on a contractual basis. In this role, you will take ownership of revamping and optimizing our website, ensuring it is scalable, fast, and aligned with modern web standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in frontend development, particularly with React, Next.js, and JavaScript, and will be comfortable working independently in a remote environment. Qualifications

Familiarity with AI tools like Claude Code or similar for coding, debugging, and accelerating development workflows is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced remote setup are also important.
Responsibilities
As a Web Developer at WrittenlyHub, your key responsibilities will include:
- Taking end-to-end ownership of website development, from conception to deployment.
- Building fast, scalable, and SEO-friendly web pages and systems that enhance user experience.
- Developing frontend components using React, Next.js, and JavaScript to create a modern, responsive interface.
- Ensuring clean architecture, code quality, and smooth navigation across all pages.
- Implementing tracking mechanisms such as GA4, GTM, and event tracking to monitor website performance and user interactions.
- Optimizing website performance, scalability, and load times through best practices and innovative solutions.
- Utilizing AI tools like Claude Code to streamline development, debugging, and code optimization processes.
- Collaborating with the team to incorporate AI-driven solutions for problem-solving and workflow enhancements.
- Managing the migration of existing blog content and integrating CMS systems for scalable publishing workflows.
- Providing post-launch support, monitoring website performance, and making iterative improvements based on analytics and user feedback.
