About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Web Developer to join our team on a contractual basis. This role is pivotal in revamping and optimizing our website to enhance performance, scalability, and user experience. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the development process, working closely with our content and marketing teams to build a modern, fast, and SEO-friendly digital platform. Qualifications
The successful candidate should possess a strong technical background with proven experience in modern web development. Key qualifications include:
- Hands-on experience with React, Next.js, and JavaScript, with a solid understanding of front-end development principles.
- Knowledge of modern web architecture, performance optimization, and scalability best practices.
- Experience working with AI tools such as Claude Code or similar for code generation, debugging, and development acceleration.
- Ability to independently take ownership of projects and execute tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate remotely within a fast-moving team environment.
Responsibilities
The Web Developer will be responsible for end-to-end website development and implementation, including:
- Owning the entire development lifecycle of the website, from planning to deployment.
- Building fast, scalable, and SEO-optimized web pages and systems that align with best practices.
- Developing the frontend using React, Next.js, and JavaScript to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Ensuring the website architecture is clean, maintainable, and scalable to accommodate future growth.
- Implementing tracking mechanisms such as GA4, GTM, and event tracking to monitor website performance and user interactions.
- Optimizing website performance through code improvements, caching strategies, and performance best practices.
- Utilizing AI tools like Claude Code to accelerate development, streamline debugging, and enhance code quality.
- Collaborating with content and marketing teams to migrate existing blogs and integrate content management workflows.
- Providing post-launch support, troubleshooting, and iterative improvements based on analytics and user feedback.
