About The Role
This is a part-time, remote Web Developer role at TheBeeBark. The Web Developer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing web applications that are responsive, user-friendly, and highly functional. The position involves both front-end and back-end development tasks, supporting website maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and enhancing digital tools to improve user experience. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and project managers, to support BeeBark’s mission of connecting architectural professionals through innovative digital solutions. The role offers flexibility, allowing you to contribute remotely while being a vital part of a fast-growing startup environment.
Qualifications
- Experience building custom websites with both frontend and backend development.
- Proficiency with drag-and-drop platforms such as Webflow, Wix, WordPress, Shopify, Framer, etc.
- Ability to convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive websites.
- Experience deploying and managing hosting environments.
- Efficient handling of revisions and client iterations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Core Skills Required
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- React / Next.js (preferred)
- Node.js or PHP (at least one backend technology)
- API integration experience
- Responsive design implementation
Additional Experience With Drag-and-drop Tools Such As
- Webflow
- WordPress (Elementor / custom themes)
- Shopify
- Wix
- Framer
Bonus skills include performance optimization, basic SEO understanding, Git/version control, and hosting platforms such as Vercel, cPanel, or AWS.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom websites integrating both front-end and back-end functionalities.
- Convert design mockups from Figma into fully functional, responsive websites that meet client specifications.
- Implement and manage hosting environments, ensuring website security, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and clients to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Support ongoing website maintenance, troubleshoot bugs, and optimize site performance.
- Integrate third-party APIs and tools to enhance website functionality.
- Handle revisions and iterations efficiently, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest web development trends and incorporate best practices into projects.
- Manage multiple website projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
