About The Role
This is a part-time, remote Web Developer role at TheBeeBark. The Web Developer will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing web applications that are both visually appealing and highly functional. The role requires a proactive individual capable of handling both front-end and back-end development tasks to support the company's digital presence. Responsibilities include converting design mockups into responsive websites, supporting website maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and continuously enhancing the functionality of digital tools to meet user needs. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of features that align with BeeBark’s mission of connecting architectural professionals through innovative digital solutions. This role offers flexibility and an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic startup environment while working remotely.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a strong foundation in web development with experience in building custom websites both on the frontend and backend. Familiarity with drag-and-drop platforms such as Webflow, Wix, WordPress, Shopify, and Framer is essential. The ability to convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect websites is a key skill. Candidates must be comfortable deploying and managing hosting environments and handling revisions efficiently, demonstrating independence and minimal need for supervision.
- Build custom websites (frontend + backend)
- Work with drag-and-drop platforms (Webflow, Wix, WordPress, Shopify, Framer etc.)
- Convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect websites
- Deploy and manage hosting environments
- Handle revisions and client iterations efficiently
- Work independently with minimal hand-holding
Core technical skills required include proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with React or Next.js (preferred). Knowledge of backend technologies such as Node.js or PHP is necessary, along with API integration experience and responsive design implementation. Additional skills in performance optimization, basic SEO, version control (Git), and hosting platforms (Vercel, cPanel, AWS basics) are considered advantageous.
