About The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer to join our Technology & Operations team. This role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise web applications that support our core business functions. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, operations, and business stakeholders, to deliver seamless digital solutions. You will be responsible for creating innovative web functionalities, automating processes, and ensuring that our digital platforms are robust, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices. This is a full-time offshore position initially based in India, with potential opportunities for relocation to Dubai or Oman after a successful probation period. The role offers a dynamic environment where technological innovation directly impacts our operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2 years of hands-on full-stack development experience, with proficiency in React, Laravel, React Native, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and related frameworks. Familiarity with database management, code versioning tools such as Git or SVN, and web server environments like Apache or Nginx is essential. A fundamental understanding of the software development lifecycle, UI/UX principles, and CI/CD pipelines is required. Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean, along with experience in system testing and automated testing, will be advantageous. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification, with a strong interest in automation, artificial intelligence, and research-driven problem solving. Familiarity with OCR frameworks and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are also important. Willingness to relocate after the probation period and adapt to the Middle Eastern work environment is essential.
Responsibilities
- Develop, automate, and maintain web applications and services that support business and operational objectives, ensuring high performance and code quality standards.
- Collaborate with team leads and colleagues to gather requirements, define project scope, and meet deadlines and objectives effectively.
- Work closely with UI/UX teams to ensure a consistent and user-friendly design across all digital platforms.
- Create comprehensive documentation for product features, technical specifications, and project workflows.
- Stay informed about emerging web development trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve development processes and solutions.
- Engage with yard staff, operations teams, and accounts personnel to understand their needs and translate them into functional web solutions.
- Participate in system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure robust application performance.
- Assist in integrating OCR frameworks and other automation tools to streamline logistics and depot operations.
- Support deployment processes, including CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure management.
