Role Description
This is a full-time job on-site role for a web Content Writer based in Chennai.
Content Development & Management
- Independently handle end-to-end content writing activities across various business requirements.
- Develop high-quality, engaging, and professional content for websites, company profiles, reports, proposals, brochures, presentations, and marketing materials.
- Prepare technical and non-technical content aligned with organizational objectives.
- Ensure clarity, consistency, accuracy, and professionalism in all written communication.
Research & Data Analysis
- Conduct detailed market, industry, and competitor research for content preparation.
- Analyze business data, technical information, and reference materials to create meaningful and informative content.
- Interpret industry-related data and convert it into structured and reader-friendly documentation.
- Ensure proper fact-checking and validation of information before publishing or submission.
Compliance & Documentation Standards
- Ensure all content complies with company standards, legal guidelines, industry regulations, and editorial compliance requirements.
- Maintain accuracy while referring to technical documents, reports, policies, and external references.
- Verify content authenticity, references, compliance requirements, and editable documentation standards during content preparation.
- Ensure proper editable compliance formats are maintained for future revisions, audits, and management reviews.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of business information, technical data, and documentation records.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance-related corrections and content updates are implemented effectively.
Oil & Gas Industry Content Support
- Prepare industry-specific content related to Oil & Gas operations, services, products, and business activities.
- Understand industry terminology, workflows, and technical concepts related to Oil & Gas sectors.
- Coordinate with technical and operational teams for gathering accurate project-related information.
Social Media & Digital Content Support
- Prepare engaging content for social media platforms, digital campaigns, and corporate branding activities.
- Coordinate and support social media postings across various platforms.
- Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and communication standards.
- Monitor content trends and support digital engagement initiatives.
Content Optimization & Coordination
- Coordinate with internal departments for collecting business and technical inputs.
- Support management with presentations, case studies, business documentation, and corporate communication materials.
- Ensure timely delivery of content projects within deadlines.
- Continuously improve content quality, readability, and effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Web Content Writing, Writing, and crafting engaging digital copy
- Experience in Content Strategy and strategic planning for web and digital platforms
- Proficiency in Content Management and maintaining content consistency
- Ability to conduct thorough Research for accurate and relevant content creation
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of SEO best practices is an added advantage
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
- Prior experience in handling content for IT or technology-driven projects is a plus
