Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Web Accessibility Specialist to join our team full-time at our Jaipur office/remote. The specialist will be responsible for implementing and maintaining web accessibility standards, performing accessibility audits, and collaborating with development and design teams to ensure compliance with WCAG and other accessibility guidelines. This role involves providing accessibility solutions, conducting training sessions on best practices, and leading the charge in making all digital experiences inclusive and user-friendly.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accessibility standards including WCAG, ADA compliance, and ARIA implementation
- Experience with web tools such as screen readers, assistive devices, and accessibility testing software
- Strong coding skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a focus on web accessibility
- Experience in UX/UI design with an emphasis on creating accessible interfaces
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve accessibility issues
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical details clearly
- Experience in conducting accessibility audits and creating reports with actionable recommendations
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, Accessibility, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Certifications in web accessibility (e.g., CPACC, WAS, or CPWA) are a plus
