Job Summary:
The Weaving Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily weaving operations, ensuring production targets are met with required quality standards, and maintaining efficient utilization of machines and manpower.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise daily weaving production activities
- Monitor loom performance and ensure optimal machine efficiency
- Allocate work to operators and ensure proper manpower utilization
- Ensure fabric quality as per customer specifications and standards
- Identify defects and take corrective actions to reduce rejections
- Coordinate with maintenance team for timely machine repairs and preventive maintenance
- Minimize machine downtime, wastage, and production losses
- Maintain production records, shift reports, and quality data
Requirements:
- Diploma / Any Degree in relevant field
- 1–3 years of experience in weaving department
- Strong knowledge of different types of looms and weaving processes
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
