WEAVING OUTSOURCING COORDINATOR

📍 Location: Karur, Tamil Nadu | Employment: Full-time | On-site
Department: Weaving / Production
Experience: 3–8 Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.Sc / B.Tech – Textile
ROLE
To coordinate and monitor outsourced weaving operations, particularly across Karur and surrounding areas, ensuring smooth production, consistent quality, and timely fabric delivery in line with production requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate daily with outsourced weavers and powerloom units for production and delivery.
- Monitor yarn availability, yarn issue, fabric production, and consumption.
- Track order-wise and weaver-wise production, pending quantities, and delivery status.
- Ensure timely fabric delivery as per the production plan and required timelines.
- Coordinate closely with Quality, Production, Stores, and Sourcing teams.
- Follow up on quality concerns, production delays, shortages, and corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain Excel / MIS reports and production records.
- Monitor weaver performance based on Quality, Quantity, and Delivery (QQD).
- Ensure timely PO / order completion and closure.
- Visit outsourced weaving units when required to monitor progress and resolve operational issues.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma / B.Sc / B.Tech in Textile Technology or a related discipline.
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in weaving / textile production.
- Experience in outsourced weaving or powerloom coordination will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of yarn, fabric, weaving processes, and production planning.
- Good communication, coordination, follow-up, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and production / MIS reporting.
- Good knowledge of the Karur weaving and powerloom network will be an advantage.
- Willingness to travel to outsourced weaving units as required.
