Role Description The Wealth Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high-net-worth and affluent clients. This role involves understanding clients’ financial goals, recommending suitable investment products and solutions, and providing ongoing portfolio reviews to optimize performance and risk. The Wealth Relationship Manager will engage in regular client meetings and calls, ensure high-quality service, and coordinate with product, research, and operations teams to deliver seamless execution. Daily responsibilities include monitoring market trends, identifying cross-selling and up-selling opportunities across the firm’s product range, and adhering to regulatory and internal compliance standards. The role also requires proactive acquisition of new clients through referrals, networking, and local market outreach, while maintaining detailed documentation and reports on client interactions and portfolio status.
Qualifications
- Strong relationship management, client servicing, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term partnerships.
- Sound knowledge of financial markets and products, including equities, mutual funds, derivatives, bonds, and wealth management solutions.
- Proficiency in consultative sales, financial needs analysis, and portfolio advisory, with a focus on goal-based investing.
- Ability to interpret research reports, market data, and product information to create suitable investment proposals for clients.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and local language, along with clear and structured documentation abilities.
- Comfort with trading and CRM platforms, MS Office tools, and basic data analysis for tracking portfolios and performance metrics.
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, or a related field; professional certifications such as NISM, NCFM, or equivalent are preferred.
- Proven experience in wealth management, retail broking, banking, or financial advisory is highly desirable.
