Role Description The Wealth Manager role at True Turtles Research is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurgaon. The Wealth Manager will work directly with clients to understand their financial goals, risk tolerance, and time horizons, and will develop tailored wealth management plans aligned with the firm’s research-driven strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include constructing and monitoring investment portfolios, preparing and presenting portfolio reviews, and communicating market insights in a clear, client-friendly manner. The role involves regular client meetings, coordinating with research and operations teams, ensuring regulatory and compliance requirements are met, and maintaining accurate documentation of client interactions and recommendations. The Wealth Manager is expected to proactively identify opportunities to enhance client outcomes and strengthen long-term relationships.
Qualifications
- Strong financial planning skills, including goal-based planning, asset allocation, and retirement planning.
- Proficiency in investment management and investments, with experience in equity, derivatives, and multi-asset portfolios.
- Solid understanding of core finance concepts, capital markets, and risk management.
- Knowledge of insurance solutions and their role in comprehensive wealth protection.
- Relevant academic background in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications such as CFP, CFA, or NISM (Research/Advisory) are an advantage.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret research reports and market data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a client-centric approach and high ethical standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively with research and operations teams and manage multiple client relationships effectively.
