Position: Wealth Manager – Private Wealth

Role Description: This is a full-time on-site role for a Wealth Manager at NJ Macson in Chennai. The Manager will be responsible for driving loan sales, monitoring market trends, managing client relationships and overseeing the loan application process. The candidate should acknowledge that success in this role requires a perfect combination of exceptional service, expert advisory solutions and unique benefits, all tailored to help our customers achieve their financial goals and priorities.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Establish relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNIs) to expand the Private Wealth Group.
- Leverage networking, referrals and targeted outreach to build a robust client base, ensuring the group’s growth, long-term success and expansion of client portfolio.
- Engage in cross-selling efforts, promoting a wide range of financial products and services that include Mutual Fund, PMS, AIF, General Insurance, Loans etc. to align with the company's strategic goals.
- Actively pursue new client acquisition and handle new customer onboarding.
- Developing personalized financial plans and investment strategies aligned with client's objectives and risk profiles.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, drive revenue growth and exceed any proposed targets while considering factors such as risk, return potential and liquidity.
- Foster long-term relationships and ongoing advisory support while providing proactive wealth management solutions to UHNIs.
- Stay well-versed with new financial products, services and advisory solutions and be updated about financial markets, emerging trends and developments within the investment landscape.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as tax advisors, auditors, legal and sales professionals, to offer comprehensive financial solutions to clients.
- Provide proactive supervision of client portfolios, ensuring alignment with evolving financial goals and market conditions while optimizing portfolio performance.
- Ensure all client interactions, financial advice and product recommendations are in line with regulatory protocols and company policies.
- Regularly compile and update detailed MIS reports that highlight key metrics, client interactions, sales progress and reflects real-time updates on portfolio performance and client’s status.
Qualifications:
- BBA or equivalent Bachelor’s degree is an essential requirement
- MBA or equivalent Master’s degree is an essential requirement
- Additional Trainings or Certifications would be an added advantage.
Knowledge:
- Aware of the latest industry trends relating to wealth planning and management, investment advisory and portfolio management.
- Good understanding of Investments and Wealth products such as Mutual Funds, PMS, AIF, Bonds etc.
- Good overall knowledge of local and international markets.
Experience:
- 5 - 10 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, financial planning, investment advisory or portfolio management.
- Experienced in client relationship management or managing HNIs/UHNIs while providing investment or financial advisory services.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Persevering, enthusiastic, motivated and self-driven.
- Proven track record of achieving business development targets.
- Ability to develop and maintain good client relationships.
- Ability to handle client objections and resolve issues effectively.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Day shift
Pay: ₹500,000 - ₹1,500,000 per month
