Role Description The Wealth Management Team Head (VP/SVP) will lead a high-performing advisory team, overseeing the delivery of holistic wealth management solutions to clients across India. This full-time, on-site role in India involves designing and implementing investment strategies, supervising financial planning activities, and ensuring alignment with clients’ objectives and risk profiles. The role includes managing client relationships, mentoring team members, monitoring portfolio performance, and coordinating with research, product, and operations teams to offer integrated solutions. The Team Head will drive business growth through new client acquisition, cross-selling of services, and enhancement of client satisfaction, while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal risk management frameworks.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Financial Planning, including goal-based planning, retirement planning, and long-term wealth creation strategies.
- Proficiency in Investment Management and Investments, covering multi-asset portfolios, mutual funds, PMS, structured products, and alternative investments.
- Solid foundation in Finance, with the ability to interpret market research, macroeconomic trends, and risk-return profiles.
- Working knowledge of Insurance solutions, including life, health, and general insurance products as part of comprehensive wealth plans.
- Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in wealth management, private banking, or investment advisory, with prior team leadership responsibility.
- Excellent relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills, with a client-centric and ethical approach.
- Ability to manage and motivate teams, set performance goals, and collaborate across functions in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in finance, economics, or business; professional certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA, NISM) are an advantage.
