Role Description This is a full-time Wealth Management Intern role based in Chandigarh in a hybrid model, with a mix of in-office and work-from-home days. The intern will support wealth managers in researching investment products, analyzing client portfolios, and preparing financial plans across mutual funds, insurance, loans, and other products. Daily tasks include assisting with data collection, preparing reports and presentations, updating client records and dashboards, and helping monitor portfolio performance and market developments. The role will also involve coordinating with internal teams, helping draft client communication, and supporting client meetings through documentation and follow-ups. This internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to holistic wealth management, financial planning, and advisory processes in a professional environment.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in finance, economics, business, or related fields, with an interest in wealth management, personal finance, and investments.
- Ability to analyze financial data, interpret basic investment metrics, and use spreadsheets and presentation tools to create clear client-ready outputs.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to support client communication, documentation, and internal coordination.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and client-centric mindset, with respect for confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Comfort with technology and digital tools, including portfolio tracking apps, CRM systems, and virtual collaboration platforms.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Management, or a related discipline; relevant certifications (e.g., NISM, CFP, or similar) are a plus.
- Prior internship or project experience in financial services, wealth management, or related areas is preferred but not mandatory.
