About the Role
As a Wealth Management Intern, you will work alongside experienced wealth managers to prepare client financial plans, analyze investment options, and support portfolio reviews. You'll gain structured, hands-on exposure to wealth management operations, investment processes, client acquisition, and advisory practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and organize client data; conduct financial and market research
- Assist in preparing financial plans, reports, and client presentations
- Support portfolio reviews, investment research, and documentation of recommendations
- Assist with client outreach, lead follow-ups, and relationship-building activities
- Support the sales pipeline — tracking prospects, preparing pitch materials, and helping convert inquiries into client engagements
- Update internal tracking tools (CRM and reporting dashboards)
- Participate in client meetings and internal discussions
Qualifications
- Skills in Financial Planning and Finance to support client analysis and plan preparation
- Skills in Investment Management to assist with portfolio reviews and investment research
- Sales aptitude — comfort with client outreach, pitching financial products/services, handling objections, and building trust with prospects
- Excellent communication skills — must be a confident, clear communicator, both written and verbal, able to present findings persuasively and interact professionally with clients
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and basic financial tools; familiarity with market data sources and CRM software is a plus
- Ability to work on-site in Pune, collaborate in a team, and manage tasks independently
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (preferred)
